YHCAA meeting with CQC

Yesterday, Care Associations across Yorkshire & The Humber came together for a highly productive in-person meeting with Rob Assall, Director of Adult Social Care Operations (North), and Victoria Marsden, Deputy Director of Adult Social Care Operations (North) at CQC.

Representing providers from across the region, the Yorkshire and the Humber Care Association Alliance (YHCAA) held constructive discussions on key issues within CQC and future plans. We discussed how we can facilitate further positive engagement with, and support of providers, and ensure providers have clarity on CQC’s expectations going forward. We also agreed some regular strategic follow up meetings and were invited to a meeting with CQC inspectors in the North.

We look forward to developing this relationship going forward.
