PerCIE International Roundtable Debate: Reimagining Person-Centred Approaches to Health and Care

Join us for a dynamic and thought-provoking international roundtable that brings together leading voices in health and care to debate the future of person-centred approaches in education, practice, and policy. This event is led through the PerCIE Network and supported by Skills for Care, The North West Social Care Nursing Advisory Council and The Foundation of nursing Studies.

What to Expect:
Our panel will challenge assumptions  around key questions:

  1. How do we include people who draw on our care (and their carer/family members) in shared decision-making?
  2. When and how should we empower individuals to take part in their care?
  3. Are we truly enabling autonomy—or unintentionally creating barriers?
  4. What’s the difference between “person-centred” and “personalised” care, and why does it matter?

The event will be chaired by : Lucy Gillespie
Panel Members include:

  • Dr Suzanne Glover – Research Officer, Pathfinders
  • Alice Bakker – Strategic Education Consultant, Healthcare & Welfare, Netherlands
  • Grace Cook – Person-Centred Practice Facilitator, FoNs
  • Lynn Mataranyika – Nursing Home Manager.

Whether you’re a practitioner, educator, policymaker, or student, this is your opportunity to engage in a conversation that could influence the future of person centred care.

Register now and be part of the debate.
